Participation in competitions hosted on the Platform is open to all forms of artistic expression. Participants must be Nigerian citizens aged between 16 and 35.

2. User Accounts:

To create an account, users must provide their email address, phone number, name, age, state of origin, and address. Next Naija Stars reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

3. Competition Participation:

• Participants retain full ownership of the intellectual property (e.g., performance videos, artwork) they submit.
• A non-refundable participation fee is required for each competition. Fees contribute to the prize pool and platform maintenance.
• Winners will be determined by a combination of public voting and judges' scores.
• Public voting will be conducted online.
• Specific rules for each talent category (e.g., time limits, file formats) are available.
• Prizes for winners include cash prizes and induction into a skill acquisition program.

4. User Conduct:

Users agree to conduct themselves respectfully and ethically on the Platform. Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, plagiarism, and any other form of inappropriate behavior are strictly prohibited.

5. Intellectual Property:

Participants retain full ownership of their submitted intellectual property. By submitting content to the Platform, participants grant Next Naija Stars a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content for promotional purposes related to the competition, including but not limited to, website display, social media sharing, and marketing materials.

7. Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes between participants or between participants and Next Naija Stars will be resolved through a mediation process facilitated by Next Naija Stars.

THE NEXT NAIJA STARS PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, NEXT NAIJA STARS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NEXT NAIJA STARS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE PLATFORM OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. NEXT NAIJA STARS DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE PLATFORM OR THE CONTENT AVAILABLE THEREON IN TERMS OF THEIR CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.
